Following are profiles of both family and elderly rental apartments completed in collaboration with various partners, as well as projects Kim Hart and his team accomplished independently. These projects illustrate how we have successfully navigated the many complex steps from envisioning and planning through construction and lease-up.

 
 

Shreveport Ridge

This 98-unit rental apartment complex features 2-story townhomes built over single-story, ground-level flats. All have 100% geothermal heating and cooling, which means low utility bills for residents. There are 10 fully ADA accessible units.

THE Rectory

This historic old rectory, which belongs to Grace Church in The Plains, VA, was converted into two separate rental apartments, to support the church mission of providing affordable housing.

VIRGINIA LANE

This collection of rental duplexes, with colorful roofs, is walking distance from Middleburg, VA. They were designed in keeping with local architecture. It was the first multi-family project to win the coveted Signatures of Loudoun design award. The site features a community garden.

The first affordable rental apartment building in Middleburg, VA, only for elderly and disabled residents, this facility has 14 universal design units, and 6 fully ADA accessible units. The large community room hosts the hottest bingo game in town.
